What to Expect for Your Pet’s Surgery
We know that preparing for your pet’s surgery can bring up a lot of questions. Here’s what you can expect when your pet is scheduled for a procedure with us:
-
Before Surgery: We will perform a full pre-surgical exam and will recommend bloodwork or other diagnostics to ensure your pet is a good candidate for anesthesia. We’ll also discuss any medications your pet may be taking or other health issues
-
During Surgery: Your pet will be closely monitored throughout the procedure by our experienced team. We use safe, modern anesthesia protocols and monitoring equipment to minimize risk and always ensure your pet’s well-being.
-
After Surgery: We monitor post-operation and will transfer for overnight care if needed. If your pet cleared to go home, we provide detailed post-operative care instructions and discuss follow up rechecks with your primary veterinarian and what to watch for at home. Our team will also schedule a follow-up if needed to check on your pet’s healing progress and address any concerns.
